Perhaps the gigantic news in recent times in the history of South Indian Cinemas. The Titans of Two Languages joins hands for an out n out commercial action entertainer. Mohanlal & "Ilayathalapathy" Vijay are going to don the roles of Siva & Sakthi respectively in the magnum opus, Jilla. The first is written & directed by R T Neason which tells the story of the deep relationship and clashes between the prodigy & his mentor. The film is produced by R B Choudary under the banner Super Good Films, who has associated with Mohanlal earlier for "Keerthichakra" & Vijay for various movies like Thullatha Manavum Thullum,Thirupaachi etc etc. Kajal Agarwal plays the female lead to Vijay while Poornima Bhagyaraj pairs with Mohanlal after a long gap. The rest of the cast comprises of Sampath,Nivedhitha,Mahat,Brahmanandam, Thambi Ramaiah, “Parotta” Suri etc etc. The cinematography is done by R Ganesh while the songs are tuned by D Imman and written by Yugabharathi & Madan Karky . Praveen KL- Srikanth handles the cuts while Rajeevan deals with the art direction. Anal Arasu deal with the action choreography of this entertainer and the Worldwide release is tentatively set on Pongal 2014.
